South Bay to Sorrento Comprehensive Multimodal Corridor Plan
Summary
The South Bay to Sorrento CMCP is meant to evaluate all travel modes and transportation facilities within a defined corridor – highways and freeways, parallel and connecting roadways, transit (bus, bus rapid transit, light rail, intercity rail, etc.), pathways, and bikeways. Public outreach and engagement were conducted throughout a populous corridor that included the cities of San Diego, Chula Vista, Coronado, National City, and Imperial Beach.
MBI’s efforts throughout multiple years of outreach enabled SANDAG to reach many different types of stakeholders, including disadvantaged communities in San Diego County that have been overlooked in the past.
- Helped SANDAG adapt to the COVID-19 pandemic by developing Virtual Meeting Rooms and designing content that is easily shared online and through digital mediums
- Developed project collateral materials in multiple languages (fact sheet, website, meeting notification materials, eblasts)
- Contributed extensive digital content for the SB2S Social Pinpoint project website:
- Coordinated logistics for multiple virtual public/stakeholder meetings
