Summary
- In 1992, the Irvine Company dedicated 340 acres of land to Orange County to be preserved as open space, now called Peters Canyon Regional Park
- OC Parks prepared a General Development Plan (GDP) for the park, which included the current and future park programming needs
- MBI supported the project team in outreach efforts and meeting facilitation in accordance with the GDP
- Facilitated public meeting with very hostile audience and identified any “hot button issues” that came up
- Prepared the meeting report which provided analysis of feedback garnered from comment cards to determine the percentage of individuals in support of and against the project
- Developed talking points for Orange County Supervisor Todd Spitzer
